The Bosco Bracco winery was acquired in 2003 by the undersigned together with other Swedish stakeholders. The undersigned is responsible for the vineyard and is registered with the authorities as the "wine farmer" and owner of the vineyard.
The vineyard is located in the Piedmont just outside Canelli, south of Asti, in the hills of Sant Antonio.
Investments, in order to produce wines of high quality, have been made in the form of new small French oak barrels as well as hard pruning of the vines and early selection of grape topics.
New planting occurs continually.
A local oenologist has been employed for advice on wine making and a local agronomist has been employed for advice on the vineyard´s management.
Only natural substances, approved by the EU for organic farming, are used at the vineyard.
Since the start of 2006, Bosco Bracco has been participating in a certification program for organic farming and winemaking. After five years of selective regulatory control, a certificate has now been issued.
The red wine grapes that are grown here are Barbera, Dolcetto and Nebbiolo. The new planting of Chardonay grapes has produced white wine from the year 2010.
